Using QuickBooks to Track and Calculate Sales Rep Commissions

Step 4: Add new Customer or Edit existing Customer and include Sales Rep and Commission Rate information:

A)    To add a new customer or edit an existing customer to add a Sales Rep, go to either the Customer Center Icon or Customers … Customer Center:

     

B)     Select Edit Customer (any customer will do.) From the Additional Info tab, select the appropriate sales rep from the drop down list. In the Edit Customer window, select the Sales Rep from the drop-down menu on the left, and enter a commission rate in the Commission Rate field on the right:

Click OK.
