Using QuickBooks to Track and Calculate Sales Rep Commissions

Step 5: Using the form:

In our example here, we set up the sales form showing Sales Rep and Commission Rate with the Product Invoice – Reps and Comm Invoice. Thus, it is important to use that template for orders for which Sales Reps are to be tracked and commissions calculated.


A) Open the Create Invoices window. Select a customer for whom a Sales Rep and Sales Commission rate have been entered. Select the form that you created that includes Sales Reps and Commission rates:

 Enter sales information and close the form as you would with any ordinary sale.
